As
the lead Architect on the project, Frank R. Golba, AIA was responsible
for the design and planning for 70,000 square feet of new corporate
offices for this international advertising and public relations
agency. The work included development of new office and workstation
standards for use by the agency throughout the world. Because
of anticipated growth and expansion needs, the facility was designed
with "swing" departments to permit relocation of select
groups to allow for the logical expansion of the agency. New data/computing

facilities,
integrated with networks throughout the world, were also included
in the work scope. Flexibility and productivity were key requirements
of the project team. In addition, all public areas and conference
facilities were designed with complete audio-visual facilities,
custom lighting, and projection/work area. The architectural design
was required to be transparent, invigorating, and reflective of
the agency's location in a significant architectural project in
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
