After
12 years establishing his business in a suburban shopping mall,
Charles Spiegel relocated his store, Charles Spiegel for Men,
to the retail "neighborhood" of Squirrel Hill. Golba
and Associates - Architecture was retained to renovate the building's
exterior, including the design of a new "faceted" storefront
for Spiegel's store, and design a new interior to better display
and promote the

merchandise.
The interior features an open, flowing plan with "niches"
designed to showcase clothing lines and styles. An expansion to
the store resulted in "The Garage", offering casual-oriented
clothing. A recent renovation, also completed by Golba and Associates
- Architecture, reinvigorated the original design and positioned
Charles' store for his third decade of success.
